| Well, not really, but figured since I rarely do updates, and when I do, they lately have little to do with myself, figured I'd add one. First, the good parts: I may have mentioned this on CBT or here, but in case I haven't, I'll be a smug sumbitch and say that I'm going to be an uncle to a little niece in June. The due date is roughly about the same time as my nephew's birthday. Also, my brother in law got a PS3, so he decided to be nice and dump his PS2 and games. Guess who got on the receiving end of that? Yes, me. Now I just need to learn enough about football to do good in the games. Thankfully, I've been having a blast with GTA: VC, though now I'm having dreams of that game. Now for the selfish blehs: One of my New Years resolutions of 2007 was to learn to play an instrument, namely my sister's saxophone. 2 years later, I remember only a few notes, I seem to be a bit tone deaf, and when I do get motivated enough to play it, either work interferes, or life bites me on the butt(although it was a blessing with the incident a couple years ago, the one I can't mention under pain of subpena, as well as learning enough notes to impress my on/off ex girlfriend), or I'm not in the right state of mind to play it. Nonetheless, real early on I did make some progress. Any suggestions to get me back in the groove?(And before you guys ask, I can't afford lessons, although I do have a couple books.) |
